Clarion Inn Grand Junction Airport

It was really quiet. The room across from us had 5 kids but we only heard them in the hall. I love that they have pool tables X 3, which cost $1.25 per game (quarters), but it was something different to do and we enjoyed it. Front desk personnel had roll of quarters for purchase. Pool is on the small side but all those kids didn't mind! There is a hot tub. Our room was clean. Comfortable. Five pillows. AC was quiet, not crazy noisy as in some hotels. Toilet is on the low side, which bothered the husband but not me as I don't have the same equipment. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot--all worked well. Sink is outside the shower/toilet area. TV worked well. Vending machines by the pool tables and pool have LOTS of choices. One is for drinks, such as smart water, orange juice, etc. Personnel were really nice and helpful. The room with king size bed had lots of room for our ebikes. There is a gas station very close by (but overpriced gas compared to others in the area--$3.49 Shell vs $3.09 Sinclair). It was convenient for unsweetened ice tea though.

The location was great, literally less than five minutes from the airport. One minute away from I-70 but not too loud. There were all kinds of facilities that the stay that much more accommodating, like the pools, laundry, a rec area and fitness room. If you have time to kill, there is no need to leave the hotel. Breakfast was good and offered early which many people took advantage of. A lot of the rooms directly overlook your parking space which I really appreciate. I was not travelling with a pet this time but they are very accommodating to people with pets while respecting those without.

The king room was large and well laid out. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was exceptional, especially for a lower priced motel, with numerous hot and cold items. As an older motel, it's a bit dated, but we thought it was a terrific value. We will stay at the Clarion again!

Swimming pool/hot tub atrium area, hot breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, walkable hallways, pet-friendly

They reception staff shifted our room to be closer to the pool when they saw we had kids, which was lovely. The pool wasn't busy and was a good temp. I thought our overall stay was good value for money. Good access to i70 but a drive to downtown.
